Social entrepreneur, explorer and speaker, Belinda has walked across Nicaragua, searched for camels in China's Desert of Death, discovered ancient rock paintings in Lesotho, pioneered inclusive expeditions for people with disabilities, lead a dozen youth development expeditions around the world and gained a Guinness World Record for rowing unsupported around Britain.

An expert expedition leader, Belinda has managed remote trips for, amongst others, outdoor survival gurus Ray Mears and Bear Grylls. Belinda launched Explorers Connect, a social enterprise connecting people to adventures in 2009. It's now a community of 25,000+ open to everyone from total beginners to experienced explorers to link with adventures, team-mates and adventure industry jobs.

She also runs Britain's most adventurous festival Base Camp Festival and has started Britain's first national day of adventure, Wild Night Out to help disadvantaged kids get outdoors.  Recently named by The Guardian as 'one of the most inspiring contemporary female adventurers' Belinda is on a mission to get more of us outdoors, help us understand how adventure can change our lives for the better and thus create real social change.
