The UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA) aims to make the law work for a better environment and to improve understanding and awareness of environmental law.  UKELA is the association for people interested in the application, development, practice, study or formulation of Environmental Law in the UK and the European Union.  It attracts both lawyers and non-lawyers and has a broad membership from the private and public sectors including academics, students, NGOs and environmental consultants and scientists. It has 10 working parties on key topics, regional groups and offers events from the wilds of Scotland to the heart of the City of London.
