The Lost World Expedition April 2011

In April 2011 Ibex Earth will return to Mount Roraima, the South American plateau that inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to write his famous adventure novel 'The Lost World'. The expeditions leaving the UK on the 2nd and 16th of April will be led by Stewart McPherson the world's leading expert on the plateau who recently made his national television debut on BBC 2's 'Decade of Discovery' in December 2010.

The Lost World Film Premiere, 30th June 2011

Sponsorshop opportunities are now available for the premiere of 'The Lost World Film' at the Royal Geographical Society on 30th June 2011. The premiere promises to be one of the most prestigious environmental events of the year and looks to bring over 700 people to the famous South Kensington venue to watch the first showing of 'The Lost World Film' - a documentary designed to raise global awareness of the conservation threats to some of the world's most spectacular natural wonders.

The Our World: Our Choice Campaign

In early 2011 Ibex Earth will be launching a high profile environmental campaign to promote the importance of conservation and preserving global biodiversity throughout schools in the UK. The campaign will feature a strong media promotions element and will also provide businesses with the opportunity to visit schools and give talks to school children on issues such as climate change, deforestation, biodiversity and endangered species. 100,000 Acres

The 100,000 Acres Campaign looks to help purchase an area of rainforest over 120 times the size of New York's Central Park. The aim of the campaign is to purchase the 100,000 acres by 31st December 2015, with special emphasis on rainforest projects that protect threatened habitats and endangered species. Ibex Earth is currently looking for corporate support in order to help fund the campaign.
